If you know me, then it's no surprise that I'm a slight perfectionist and like things to be "just so". If something is messy or out of sorts, I am the one to fix it because that's just the way I am. Things need to be aligned just perfectly because I like things neat. Sorry, it's just the way I am. So given all this, I'm curious, is this perfectionism trait something that can be genetically passed on?
You see, here's the thing... lately, Braedyn is fascinated with stacking things and lining things up in a row. And if things are not perfect, he is not happy about it. For example...

Look how proud he is of himself in that first picture! So you see my concern? Did I pass this trait on to him... the need to have things perfect, neat and orderly? I mean, surely this trait didn't come from Ben, right? Not only does Braedyn focus intently as he lines his cars up in a perfect row, but in the middle of all of this, he even has the nerve to shout out "Bray-en smart"
(toddler translation: Braedyn is smart). Hey, what can I say, I taught the kid the really important words of the English language. Isn't that what I'm supposed to do? Surely you can agree that "Bray-en Smart" is much more worthy than "fut-bahl" and "baz-ket-bahl", right?!?

Hey, be thankful that he is being nice and neat right now because trust me, there will be a day when he starts throwing everything everywhere and won't care how messy it is, lol.
LOL! Maybe he'll keep these neatness tendencies as he gets older!
That is so cute. I love the picture with the cars.
I'm kind of hoping it's not genetic because I lack the neatness gene which means Cooper isn't likely to have received it LOL. But, for your sake I'll hope it is hereditary in your family because that's pretty cool :).
