Alright, alright, enough of the emails and stop tagging me on Facebook... here's my friggin' list of 25 Random Things About Me. You had better enjoy this!!
1) I'm a sucker for love stories.
2) I'm a creature of habit, and procrastinate whenever I can.
3) I am a huge perfectionist.
4) Several years ago, I decided one day that I was giving up carbonated beverages, and stuck to it for over 2 years. Today, it is a struggle to get through the day without a can of coca-cola.
5) In elementary and middle school, I was ALWAYS the teacher's pet.
6) When I was in the sixth grade, I won our school spelling bee. The word I won with was "fluorescent".
7) I think buying flowers is a huge waste of money... please don't give me something that will die in 3 days!
8) I do not like chocolate. Yes, you read that correctly... I. Do. Not. Like. Chocolate.
9) I have always wanted to visit Norway, Sweden and Finland. I have no idea why, I just do.
10) I like recognition when I've earned it, but I don't like to be the center of attention.
11) When I was younger, I had a slight obsessive compulsive disorder where I would avoid walking on the cracks in sidewalks, and would count the number of steps I took and never end on an odd number.
12) I am semi-claustrophobic. Small confined spaces send me over the edge.
13) I have always wanted to train for a marathon. I envy the title of "runner".
14) I only eat Fuji brand apples. Try one... you'll be hooked after just a few bites.
15) I wrote a lot of poetry while in high school. I can still kick out a pretty decent poem in a short period of time.
16) I still believe the 80's had the best music ever.
17) Way back when, I was a huge sports fan and my Sundays were strictly devoted to watching NFL football. Then Dan Marino retired - without ever winning a Super Bowl - and my love for all things football quickly faded away.
18) When Ben and I first started dating, he was ultra-impressed with the fact that I knew the difference between 'offsides' and 'false start'. Since then, he's been less than impressed with the rest of my sports knowledge (or lack thereof).
19) When I was really young, I wanted to do everything my older brother did. He wanted to be a CPA, so I went around telling people that I was going to be a CPA when I grew up, even though I had no idea what the letters stood for. A year after graduating college, I passed the exam to receive my CPA license.
20) I can use a 10-key calculator faster than you can.
21) For several years of my life, climbing the corporate ladder was the only goal that mattered to me. Then I got married and had two little boys... the only ladder I'm familiar with these days are the white ones on the side of Braedyn's firetruck toy.
22) One thing about motherhood I wasn't prepared for is that I now live my life with much more fear... the fear of something bad happening that I am not able to control.
23) I perform audits of companies/entities for a living (yes, it's true, not all CPA's prepare taxes). My work comes easy to me, and I can confidently say that I am really good at what I do.
24) I work best under pressure. Without pressure, it's quite difficult to get myself motivated.
25) If you don't like me when you first meet me, give it some time. My personality is infectious, and you'll soon grow to love me (or at least this is what I tell myself to sleep at night).

Well I must be a pretty good sister cuz there was only one thing that I learned about you from this post and it wasn't even in your 25 list, lol. It was in your first paragraph. I didn't know that you were on facebook, lol. I did learn something else I never knew....that our brother wanted to be a CPA. Where was I when that was happening, lmao.
p.s. #25.....keep telling yourself that, lmao. For real, I am really lmao at that one. Love ya!
awesome list!
I work for an auditing firm too but not as a CPA. I agree about music of the 80's. I had the same OCD thing as a kid - I would lay in the grass and count blades of grass and pull them out one by one and if it came out smoothly to the root I could count it but if it snapped before the root I couldn't and then I had to always end on an even number. I also counted syllables and couldn't end a sentence with an odd number of them. Thankfully I outgrew that LOL. Thanks for sharing!!
Glad I'm not the only one with dreams of training for a marathon!!
