Easter Weekend

This is probably the first holiday where Braedyn kinda "got it". You know, he sort of understood what was going on. He had an egg hunt and colored eggs at school, we had an egg hunt on Friday with his cousin, Montana. And then we colored more eggs and had another egg hunt this weekend at Grammy's house. I love the fact that Braedyn is having fun and getting excited about all the activities. Here's a ton of pictures from our weekend.

Chase and Braedyn riding in style. These kids have the life, they just sit there, relax, and take in the view while someone else does all the work. Seriously, what's that like?


Braedyn adding stickers to his newly colored eggs. Braedyn handled these eggs like he handles his Hot Wheels. He just threw them all in the basket or set them down on the table in a not-so-gentle manner. And as the adults cringed at the sound of eggs cracking, he just went on his merry way without a care in the world!

Once his basket was full, he says "all done", and couldn't care less that there were more eggs to find. He wanted to get down to business and see all the goodies hidden in the eggs.

After the egg hunt, Chase had 5 eggs and Braedyn had 15 eggs. When Braedyn saw Chase's eggs, he quickly proceeded to take them all away from him, and then put them into his own basket. I guess that whole 'sharing concept' thing still needs some work.

It was a great Easter weekend with lots of Kodak moments, but boy-oh-boy, I am so exhausted! I'm off to catch some much needed zzzzz's.
