Ben figured out the trick a long time ago... if he wanted to watch any sports whatsoever, he needed to figure out a way to make Braedyn love all things sport. And I have to admit, Ben has done a pretty good job at achieving this. Braedyn loves to play football and basketball with Daddy. When Braedyn started using the tall floor fan as a basketball hoop, and started shooting his mini-basketball at the fan, we knew he was ready for his own basketball hoop.
I already had the Little Tikes Basketball Hoop on Braedyn's Christmas list (I know, I know, it's only April... whatever), but since he's in his "basketball prime" right now, we figured this was the best time to buy it. =)~ Here is a sequence of shots of Braedyn playing basketball.
And this next picture was taken right after Braedyn figured out that he could slam dunk the basketball (or something like that).
I do have to admit, Braedyn is actually pretty good at getting the basketball in the hoop. I mean, aside from the fact that he played with this thing for a solid 2 hours after we arrived home from the store today, I still couldn't believe how good he was. So of course, I had to get some video footage as proof. In this video clip, you'll see that once he actually tracks down the basketball, he does a pretty good job of getting it in the hoop.
In case there was any question, Ben was quite proud of his little sportster!

Glad to see I am not the only one that has had a big, plastic basketball hoop in my living room! Nicholas loves sports too..he is in Tball right now and wants to go every night.

He is too cute and he is really good. I remember when Montana first got his hoop. then we had to raise it and it went into his room cuz you know the ball starts flying everywhere and will hit something. When we raised it to the tallest level it had to be moved outside, lol.
