I had good intentions of writing a blog post earlier than today, not quite sure what happened... oh, wait, yes I do. Let's start at the beginning, shall we?
Saturday: Chase began to get a slight cold, nothing too bad, he just seemed run down.
Sunday: This was a planned Sea World Day, but we nixed it in hopes of letting Chase rest to get better. We took the boys to the fair instead, Braedyn rode a lot of rides and Chase just relaxed in the stroller.
Monday: Chased seemed to bounce back, so all seemed well. I was sooo looking forward to Wednesday. Veteran's Day is a holiday for my office, so Ben took the day off too so we could go Christmas shopping all day.
Tuesday: Chase woke up with a 102.5 degree fever, Grammy came down to watch him for the day.
Wednesday: Chase woke up with a 102.5 degree fever. Christmas shopping nixed, I stayed home with Chase, Ben went into work *just in case* he needed to stay home with Chase later in the week. I take Chase to the pediatrician, and of course, it's a viral infection. So no antibiotics, and fever should only last 3-5 days. I love the "only" part of that sentence.
Thursday: Chase woke up with a 102.5 degree fever. Ben stayed home to take care of Chase. (Sidenote: Either my thermometer is broke, or this child is extremely consistent with his fever spikes!)
Friday: Chase woke up with a 102.5 fever, I stayed home with Chase once again.
Saturday: Surely you know where this is going, right? Yup, you guessed it, Chase woke up with a 102.5 degree fever. I probably should've labeled this post "Groundhog Day".
So umm, yeah, I think that pretty much sums up this past week. The only good news is that Chase *appears* to be on the rebound this afternoon. But then again, he's appeared to be on the rebound about 3 times this week. So who really knows what tomorrow morning will bring!
I think it was just last week that I was bragging about how, aside from the normal doctor appointments, I have only had to take one day off for a sick child in the past 3 months! So surely I completely jinxed myself. That will seriously be the last time I brag about something like that!
I do have some pictures from the Fair, but I'll add them to my next post. I'm so completely wiped out from this past week, and too exhausted to write much more than this.

Sounds like Kaiden! He keeps picking up infections every time he leaves the house it seems. Hope Chase is better soon!!
Oh my...my MIL bragged about Spence never being sick in 8 months and then he got that same viral crap. I could have wrung her neck! And on top of his cold he is teething...stop this ride I want to get off!
