Catching Up

So when I left you four months ago, Braedyn just turned 3, loved dinosaurs and animals, and had absolutely no interest in using the potty. And Chase had no interest in anything other than his big brother. So let's see, what has changed since then... Oh, that's right, Absolutely Nothing. I go to sleep at night wondering if Braedyn will go to college in Pull-Ups. Especially when he has verbally expressed on more than one occasion, "No, Braedyn no poopy on the potty, No Potty". Oh, how fabulous... isn't it great when toddlers start talking.

Chase is growing so fast and is getting extremely close in size to Braedyn. If one more person asks me if they are twins, I very well might whack them with my diaper bag. The good news is that Chase is finally starting to say some words and is learning to play on his own.

It took awhile, but Chase has finally learned how to push himself on his ride-on, and my hands and knees are so very grateful now that he doesn't need to be pushed.

Braedyn's fascination with animals is insane, he would go to the zoo every single day if he could. He can pretty much tell you the name and imitate the sound of every animal that exists. And no, that is not an exaggeration. I mean, seriously, how many 3-year olds can accurately point out and say "Caribou". It's not a reindeer, it's a caribou, get it straight! He's been to Animal Kingdom a couple times, and very much prefers that to Magic Kingdom. He even has me build a train track so that he can place all of his animals inside and around the track, and he refers to it as "Animal Kingdom".

In fact, Braedyn is so fascinated with animals, that he often says "Daddy is a horse, neigh, neigh" during play time. And then this happens...

With each passing day, the boys play more and more together, which I totally love. Their most favorite thing of all is when Ben plays their pretend games and rough-houses with them... which pretty much happens on a daily basis now. They laugh and giggle uncontrollably, and you can't help but to smile when you see them in action.

Their favorite game at the moment is when Ben picks them up over his shoulder and "bodyslams them" on the couch. I can't express to you how much they love this. So go ahead and watch a video clip of it. I dare you to try to watch it without cracking a smile. It's impossible to not smile when you watch their faces.

Pretty cute, huh? Now go ahead and watch the video again, but this time, only focus on Ben. It'll crack you up even more. How is it possible that two little boys are having the time of their life, but at the same time, Ben is about to pass out from exerting all the energy involved in this game.

So now that I've shown you all my pictures and video clips from the past four months, sit tight and have some patience while I get some new pictures. =)~
