It's May, and the weather has already reached 90 degrees several days thus far. It's looking like we're in for another long, hot summer. I mean, I know I complained when it was extremely cold this past winter, but did it really have to get so hot, so fast? The only good news is that it's hot enough to use the pool already, which thrills Braedyn.

I'm not going to lie, Braedyn *occasionally* sits on the couch to eat. You can interpret the word "occasionally" however you wish. =)~ Chase is in his never-ending, "I want to do whatever Braedyn does" phase. I caught this cute picture of the two of them last weekend. They look like they are virtually the same size while sitting down, huh? Only when they are standing can you see the height difference!

We went to Sea World this past weekend, and even though it was 86-degrees, the sun was so bright and semi-unbearable. The boys were a tad bit burnt out of theme park visits, but I did manage to get these two cute pictures. Yep, you read that right, only TWO pictures.
I was so happy with the above picture of Braedyn. Previously, he never did well with character pictures, but I think he is getting better with age. This is the first picture with a character where he is both looking at the camera and smiling!
After this day at Sea World, Ben and I both declared it the end of our theme park visits, at least until the fall weather hits... which probably won't be until October again this year. If you heard me complaining at Sea World about the heat (on this 86-degree day), you would never believe that I am a native Floridian!
And one last picture to keep you smiling through the weekend... Chase's newest thing is pretending that he is in jail whenever he is put in his crib at night. All the mommies know how the process goes... you put them in the crib and have to go in a few times to *soothe* them before they actually fall asleep. The first time I ever saw him like this, it seriously cracked me up. I couldn't resist taking a picture.
The only problem is that the next time I went in after taking pictures, he was smiling and posing as if he wanted more pictures taken. Anyone want to take bets on how long before he learns to climb out?

I think you need to do a post on how to survive the theme parks with two little ones. I want to go but am afraid and I only have the one!
LOVE the jail crib picture...and I won't even comment on the climbing but for your sake I hope it isn't any time soon!
