My Little Tummy Lover

I always wondered if Braedyn would ever sleep on his tummy, because he was not fond of tummy time his first couple months. And when I tried to lay him down on his tummy and turn his head to the side, he fussed and fussed. But, like I've come to realize with many other things, he will get comfortable on his tummy when HE says so! And as of Wednesday, he has decided that he finally likes to sleep on his tummy.

I first found him sleeping on his tummy when I checked in on him Wednesday night. I assumed he rolled there by accident, so I flipped him over on his back. I checked back in on him a couple hours later when the alarm went off, and he was back on his tummy again. I guess this meant he wasn't there by accident, huh? The only thing is, he won't/can't fall asleep on his tummy. And speaking of falling asleep....

Braedyn has mastered the back to belly roll - but the belly to back roll is a different story. So when we lay him down for bedtime, he's consumed with rolling over to his belly. In fact, he's so consumed with it, that he does it over and over again, and then fusses over and over again because he doesn't know what to do when he's on his belly, and can't quite figure out how to go to sleep that way. So, the whole rolling thing that was really cute a couple weeks ago - yeah, umm... not so cute now when it prolongs his bedtime by 30 minutes! =) Goodness, just think what it'll be like when he learns to pull himself up!!
