Little Boy's Professional Pictures

We took Braedyn for his one-year professional pictures today. I was hoping he would have more patience than he did at his 6-month pictures. And he did... his attention span was exactly 2 minutes longer. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. We did manage to get a few good snapshots, which is really all you need - and I don't think you can really ask for more than that at his age.

I waited to get his one-year pictures done until he was standing well and walking on his own. That might have been mistake number one. Because all Braedyn wanted to do was run out of the studio room into the waiting room where all the people were. We had to keep chasing him down and bring him back into the room. I'm telling you, after this picture shoot, I was sweating as if I had just ran a marathon. Good times.... (sense the sarcasm there)

Anyway, here are some pictures to commemorate today's fun-filled adventure.

This is one of my favorite pictures. It came out so well because it was one of the first ones taken. Braedyn was still trying to figure out what was going on.

Braedyn clapped and ran around the studio room alot. Here he is clapping in the chair, because apparently he's proud of himself for sitting so patiently.

And here he is running away, and laughing his little butt off about it. He really thought it was all a game... and he was winning.

And here he is clapping again while running away, because apparently this is a game, and he is winning. He's so proud of himself.

He wasn't quite sure what to do with the block. So instead of posing sweetly next to it, he used it as leverage to push off and get a running start - straight out of the studio room.

And here he is on the Radio Flyer scooter. Let me explain to you how exceptional my Little Boy is. He's never been on one of these things, yet it only took him about 7 seconds flat to figure out how to swing one leg over and get himself off of it, and then take off running out of the studio room.

We used Portrait Innovations in Lake Mary for his pictures, same place we used for his 6-month pictures. I like the quality work they produce, and you get your pictures 20 minutes after you choose them. You can't beat that! So right now, Braedyn is napping from his exhausting day today. And for some reason, Ben is napping too... from, ummm, his exhausting day as well?? Oh well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I'm off for my nap as well.
