Sheez, it seems like forever since I've felt creative enough to blog. The truth is, this pregnancy along with keeping up with a toddler has completely zapped my creative ability. And pregnancy the second time around has been a pain in my ass... literally. I feel like I pulled a muscle in my gluteus maximus (emphasis on the word "maximus"). But I will be the first one to tell you that a pulled muscle is highly unlikely, as any form of regular exercise is nonexistent in my life.
So after I realize this pulled muscle feeling isn't going away, I do what any normal person would do. I google my issue to see what the problem is - because, you know, google is more trustworthy than a doctor... or ummm, something like that. My research has concluded that this is all the result of pelvic pain. That's right... pelvic pain in pregnancy somehow shows up on the rear side. And the best part of it all, there's nothing you can do while pregnant to prevent it. Aaaahhh, how lovely. I read that it's best to not be stationery for any extended length of time. Hmmm, let's analyze this for a minute... I sit in a chair at a computer all day. And then sleep for several hours at night. Am I the only one that feels like my hope of remedying some of this pain is looking pretty bleak?! My only "saving grace" is that this little baby loves to kick me in the bladder, so that forces me to break up my work day by getting up to go to the bathroom every hour. ::sigh::
Okay, that's enough venting about my pregnancy pains. On to my Little Boy. You know, the Little Boy that had another sick day this week. I was quite baffled by this sick day though. I mean, Braedyn was really not feeling well Monday night and went to bed quite early. And Tuesday morning, he was not well at all, so I kept him home with me. He took an early nap, and then after that, he was all smiles and just having the time of his life being at home with Mommy. Do you ever get the feeling like you've been duped by your toddler? Here's some pictures I took of Braedyn while he was home *sick* - you be the judge...
Friday Fiver
1. What song frequently gets stuck in your head? Whatever is the last song playing on the radio before I turn it off.
2. Choose one line from a song that sums up your life right now. "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell." - Matchbox 20 - 'Unwell'
3. Do you have one all-time favorite song? Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Leppard (but that's just our little secret, right?!)
4. How do you listen to music most often? iPod/computer
5. American Idol: fantastic show or overrated? somewhere in between, it would be a whole lot better if they didn't sing any music prior to 1980.
