Helping Daddy

And I use the word "helping" very loosely. After a very dry month of April and May, Ben had to water the plants to give them a chance of surviving the Florida heat. And nothing's more fun than watering the plants... for Braedyn anyway.

Can you see Braedyn behind the plant, keeping a close eye on the water to make sure Daddy is doing his chores correctly.

Braedyn is helping to pull the water hose along for Daddy. The only problem is that he always seemed to be pulling the hose in the opposite direction that it needed to go. And as you can tell by Braedyn's clothes, I honestly think he was watered down more than the plants.

Of course, Braedyn's favorite part was playing with the water. Earlier in the day we walked down to get the mail. And one of the houses on our street has a hose sprinkler that was on watering their grass. Braedyn was so fascinated with this and kept wanting to run through the sprinkler. So after looking around to make sure none of the neighbors were watching (hee!), we just let him go at it. It was the cheapest form of entertainment yet for the Little Boy.

This is Braedyn watering the plants in his own very special way. Mostly he was watering the sidewalk, but hey, sidewalks need water too. Right?!?

And after all that hard work, there's nothing left to do but take a break in the chair, and wait for Mommy to bring the sippy cup. He definitely picked up this behavior (the sitting in the chair waiting for a drink) from Ben!
