Did Hell Freeze Over?!?

It must have, and here is why... it's 7:30 pm, and my child has been asleep for a solid 10 whole minutes already! Now I'm sure you're probably thinking "so what, why is that a big deal", and since you asked, this hormonal, pregnant woman will tell you! Since transitioning Braedyn to the toddler bed, his bedtime has somehow been pushed back a solid hour, so he hasn't been falling asleep until 8:30, sometimes as late as 9:00 pm. Most of that is due to his newfound freedom of being able to get out of bed, but I'm happy to say that it has all finally caught up to him. He was so exhausted tonight, and as much as he tried to fight his sleepy eyes, he finally gave in after 11 minutes (yes, I counted... it was 11 solid minutes) of Mommy forcing him to stay in his bed and lay his head down. Whew... it's a miracle!

And now that I FINALLY have some time to get on the internet, I've got just enough energy left in me to post a few pics of our Little Boy.

This is where Braedyn inevitably ends up at least one time per night. And honestly, if I knew how much he'd enjoy sleeping on pillows on the floor, I would've saved the money on the bed and just threw some pillows on the floor for him. (Not really, that's the "Ben" side of me talking.)

This is Braedyn playing in a cardboard box, pretending it's his little car. Ben was pushing him around the house in it, and he thought it was the greatest thing. (Mental note to self: forego the expensive presents at Christmas time, just get a few empty cardboard boxes instead.)

And this is a rare photo of myself and Braedyn. He doesn't like to cooperate with the camera these days, but he finally agreed to a picture with Mommy. And that big belly sticking out in front of me (surely you didn't miss that) would be Baby Chase.

So we're finally getting all the baby stuff pulled out of the shed and getting things set up and put together in anticipation of our new little one, due to arrive in 5 1/2 weeks. Right now, Ben's reading this and going "Oh crap, only 5 1/2 weeks left?!?" haha. I got my official c-section date, and even though I pretty much knew what day it would be, something about getting it from the doctor - in writing - makes it really official! Other than that, Baby Chase is growing like a champ, and things are looking well. Can't ask for much more than that. Well, except for a few less pee breaks at night so I can get some solid sleep. Surely you needed to know that, right? =)~
