While I was recently spending some time on Memory Preservation (you know, that fancy word I use to describe all the hours and money spent on photos, digital scrapbooking, and video montages), I happened to realize that some of the pictures of Chase reminded me so much of when Braedyn was a baby. So I thought it would be fun to hunt through the gazillion pictures I have and find some similar ones. Surely you're bursting at the seams to see what I came up with, so here it is (left/top picture is Braedyn, right/bottom picture is Chase)...

Newborn (one day old) ~ Braedyn hated to wear mittens from Day 1, he refused to keep them on. Chase was a bit more willing to adapt to things such as mittens, swaddling, etc. In fact, Chase pretty much adapted to everything during the first several months... well, except for the whole sleep thing.
1 week old ~ Getting a bath was probably the least favorite activity of both boys for the first month. Thankfully, they both learned to love bath time. Well, that is until they get old enough to associate bath time with bedtime.

2 months ~ Both boys slept soundly in their swing when they were little. While Braedyn used and loved his swing for almost the entire first year, Chase was not a huge fan of it. He has used it only a handful of times in the last several months.

3 months ~ Ben and I loved it when we checked on the boys and found them in this sleeping position. Because this meant that they were knocked out and sleeping very soundly. We always referred to this as the 'touchdown pose'.

7 months ~ Both boys loved their teething biscuits. And both Ben and I loved to give them teething biscuits, as it meant the boys were secure in their chair and occupied for a solid 20-30 minutes. These were good times. =)~

8 months ~ Both boys learned to stand at around the same age. They both loved to play with this Leapfrog Activity Table. I thought it was funny that Braedyn and Chase have the same facial expression (you know, that look of annoyance from Mommy bothering them for a picture while they're playing).

Braedyn - 7 months; Chase - 9 months ~ As I noted in a previous post, we were a bit late with getting Chase in this bathtub. But regardless, they both enjoy the ducky bathtub and look oh so adorable in it.

9 months ~ I love this picture of both boys. On the left, this picture was taken right after Braedyn's first haircut. On the right, well umm, Chase probably won't get his first haircut until another 6 months or so. The difference in how much hair Braedyn and Chase have at this age is amazing, huh?
Just when I think that my boys are different in so many ways, it's refreshing to see some similarities through these pictures. And one day, I hope to do something with these specific pictures, maybe make a few digital scrapbook pages, or put them in side-by-side photo frames, or something like that. But since I'm currently trying to recover from a sickness and some serious sinus issues, posting the pictures on my blog is the extent of my creativity thus far.

remember how I was saying that Chase is bigger than what Braedyn was at the same age well maybe i was wrong. It looks like Braedyn was bigger.......hmmmm. Maybe I need my eyes checked, lol. Cute pics of them side by side. Oh yeah, get better!
Love these pics...how fun! Ahhh... I also have such fond memories of the "touchdown" sleeping position! I can't believe how the boys look so grown up! Great post!
Touchdown! Spencer sleeps in that position as well. :)
I love seeing these pics side by side! Both boys are gorgeous!
