Photo Shoot #0609

I hate to bore you to tears with the same ole' story, but I have to share it with someone. So here's a snapshot of our family life right now.

a) Mommy gets sick off and on for about 2 weeks, still feels like crap.

b) Chase gets sick this weekend and ends up with a viral infection, which results in a severely sore throat, a loss of appetite, and a ton of screaming and crying. The virus is estimated to last 3-5 days, and he has been up crying and screaming every 1.5 - 2 hours for the past two nights. All of this equals sleepless nights for Mommy and a horrible case of exhaustion.

c) Just as Chase starts to show signs of life today, Braedyn starts to get sick with a glorious fever of 101+ degrees.

Yes, these are good times. Today is Tuesday and it is already the Longest. Week. Ever. So while I wait for Braedyn to fall asleep (so I can pass out quickly after that), here's a few pictures until I get the energy to write more.

Braedyn trying to give Ben a subtle hint that the grass really needs to be cut after all the rain we've had.

Braedyn and Chase having fun on their bikes. Now if only Chase can figure out the Flinstone Method of making his car move.

This is a picture of Chase's first day in the pool. He loves the pool and the water and took to it very well. He's already splashing a bit with his little hands.

We signed Braedyn up for The Little Gym to try it out and see how he liked it. These are a few pics from a recent visit.

He actually really liked all the equipment, but showed very little interest in the group activity or in learning new skills. The only thing he wanted to do was jump on and off the mats. And since he can pretty much do the same thing at home on his bed, we figured we should probably wait to pursue this until he gets a little older and in a class that has far fewer children and is much less chaotic. But I will say, I really liked this place, so I hope we can find a class that fits him well when he turns 3.

Well, I've heard the sweet sound of silence for the past 10 minutes, so that's my cue to hit the sack. And according to my calculations, Chase is due to wake up screaming in about 45 minutes flat, so I must go fall asleep really quickly since Ben is on duty if I'm sleeping. =)~
