Discovering New Things

This is Braedyn's new Baby Einstein Exersaucer. We purchased this a few weeks ago, and when we first put him in it, he looked at everything but the toys on the exersaucer. So, we waited a few weeks until he turned 4 months (the recommended age), and he now shows a lot more interest in it. So, I guess the lesson to be learned here is that the "age recommendations" are there for a reason. =) I posted these two pics, because of all the noise-making toys to play with on this exersaucer, he is mesmerized by this yellow sunflower. Yes, the yellow sunflower that does absolutely nothing but just sit there. Nice, huh? I actually believe it is the color yellow that he loves so much. But, the point being, I could've gotten this same reaction from him by drawing this on a piece of paper for a total cost of $1.99!! But, as all new mommies will agree...nothing is too good for our little tyke!

This is a Lamaze multisensory clutch cube, and I have been waiting forever to use this neat little thing, and Braedyn is finally taking interest in it! I love this new stage he is in. He is really starting to grab at his toys and study new objects ... and it's not accidental, he really means to do it! haha.
