Nobody warned me that babies get homework assignments in preschool. hehe. On Friday, all of the parents of the Lamb Nursery Kids (this is the name of the infant nursery at Braedyn's preschool) were given a gingerbread boy cutout, and were asked to decorate it in a way that represents our child. It could be as fancy or as simple as we wanted. You'll be happy to know that it took all of 2 minutes for my competitive drive to kick back in. =) As a proud mommy, I was determined to make Braedyn's gingerbread boy the best-looking in his class. And No, you don't have to tell me how pathetic I am, I already know!
As I was getting out all my crafts and supplies, Ben eagerly reminded me that "it doesn't have to be anything fancy". Seriously, how dare he even go there! A picture of our completed project is shown below.
When I showed Ben the finished product, he says "that's really nice, I would've just taken a pencil and drawn something on it". And THAT is why mommy does the arts and crafts, and daddy takes out the trash. :-D~

Let the art work begin! And he is still an infant at that. Another piece of mommy advice...Go to target get the biggest rubbermaid tote and label it Braedyn. All his art work will go in there. I have already upgraded sizes of the totes for Jordans art. It never ends girlfriend. Everything she brings home goes on the Fridge for a week then gets transferred to the tote. And god forbid do not ever let him catch you trying to throw a piece of it away. You will catch hell for it trust me.
PS.... Good Job Mom. You're getting the hang of being a great mommy.
About time you got out that craft stuff. HA. Don't forget to put these pictures in your scrap book. He will change so much in the next couple of months and you will think he is the cutest thing in town. Yea even more than now.
