Braedyn's First Halloween

Aaaahhh, it's so great to get back into the holiday spirit again. Having a child will do that to you. Every event has to be celebrated exponentially, especially the first year! For Braedyn's first Halloween, we took him around Grammy Wormeck's neighborhood to go trick-or-treating.

He was a giraffe this year, and apparently, this was really difficult for people to figure out. Some of the comments we got were: "Aww, he's the cutest moose ever"... "Wow, look at the cute little hippopotamus"... "Nice looking rooster"... "Is he a cow or a goat"... I mean, seriously people, do you not know a giraffe when you see one?! ::rolling eyes:: =) Anyway, here are some pictures:

Getting excited for his Halloween adventure (not really, he had no idea what was going on, but whatever... just go with it!)
Top view of his outfit. He's checking out the trick-or-treat bag - trying to figure out the best way to chew on it.

Before leaving the house, Grammy said "we'll go to about six houses". Ben and I were like "Huh? Only six? What is that about?" Well let me tell you, after about the fourth house, we were like "oh thank goodness, only two more houses left". HaHa. Getting Braedyn in and out of the stroller, and zipping and unzipping his costume to keep him cool is very tiring. Maybe next year we'll aim for 10 houses. Happy Halloween!!
