Okay, so here's the deal. I often joke that Braedyn loves Daddy more than Mommy (although I secretly know it's not true). But here is a prime example of why I say that. Ben can make Braedyn laugh by doing the most silliest things. And truthfully, Braedyn not only laughs, but he laughs hysterically for Daddy.
Sure you may be tired of watching Braedyn videos at this point. But I know that these particular videos will most definitely make you laugh - or at least smile - regardless of how bad of a day you are having!! In the first video, Ben is simply just tickling Braedyn. Actually, I think it's more of his infamous high-pitched voice that gets Braedyn cracking up, but who really knows.
Now that video was kinda cute, huh? Well... you ain't seen nothin' yet! This next video is Ben, once again, putting Braedyn in hysterics with laughter. Wanna know how... by simply shaking the newspaper!? I know, I don't get it either!! Braedyn likes to take the newspaper from Daddy, and just basically crumble it into pieces (after he tries to bite a chunk of it off). So in this next video, Braedyn shakes the paper in an effort to get Ben to shake the paper back, because apparently this is the funniest thing ever? And trust me when I say that you will be lying if you don't at least crack a smile when watching this, because my adorable baby's laugh truly is Contagious!!!
Now I know that you at least smiled at that video (and if you didn't, then you're the devil). So... here's my issue with all of this. Sure it's great that Ben can make Braedyn laugh, and sure it makes for great video footage and memories, and yada yada yada. BUT, you wanna know what happens when Mommy tries to make Braedyn laugh? I could do the exact same thing that Ben does, and Braedyn will laugh hysterically for Daddy, and when it comes to me, THIS is the face I get:
I mean, honestly, what is that about? ::sigh:: =)~

Hey Patty! LOVE your blog entries. I can't believe how much he has changed since we saw him last. We'll have to try getting together again before he is officially the big ONE year old! I just also had to add about the newspaper...which that laugh is so cute! But, you spend all this money, time, and effort finding the perfect toy, right? And of all things, he gets so much joy out of the newspaper!
But he still looks like you. That counts. Look at it like this, he thinks dad is funnier looking than mom. Connie
