Can He Solve Math Equations Yet?

I always told Ben that toddlers typically change alot around 18 months. So based on this statement, he believed that Braedyn would start reading novels outloud and figuring out algebra equations on his own. Men... Anyway, regardless of what Ben thinks, Braedyn is progressing just fine for an 18-month old. He copies words and sounds that you say, and has picked up on new words.

His newest word is vacuum. Braedyn has been fascinated with our vacuum cleaner, and it's to the point now that after he wakes up in the morning, he comes into our bedroom, and the first word out of his mouth is "mama", and the second word is "vacuum"... which basically means, go get the vacuum out of the closet for me. He also now growls like a bear, choo-choos for a train, and baa's for a sheep. And whenever he sees the kitties or a picture of a cat, he'll say "hi kit-cat". But it's odd... he says it in this high-pitched voice, the way some adults would talk to a baby. It's the funniest thing, and I don't quite understand where he picked up that voice from, but he only does it when he says hi to the cats.

In the video below, you can hear Braedyn say hi to the kitty cats in his wonderful high-pitched, country twang. And then there's footage of how Braedyn loves to entertain himself on the couch. Don't worry about panicking while you watch the video, he doesn't fall off the couch, nor does he come close to falling off the couch. You see, the time when he actually twirled himself off the couch wasn't actually caught on video... thank goodness. So if there's no evidence of it, then it didn't happen, right?!?

Hope you enjoyed, and Happy Fourth of July!!

Oh my goodness...I am sitting here LOL at him on the couch! That is so cute and so funny, I will probably watch it several more times and show Tim so he can laugh too.

Do you or Ben talk to the cats in a certain way? Maybe that's how he picked it up? Either way it's too cute.
