And of course, since Chase can sit and play on his own, Braedyn now takes more of an interest in Chase's toys. Look at this picture - Chase is already laying down the ground rules and pushing Braedyn away from his toys. =) And is it just me, or does Chase look like he's only 6 months younger than Braedyn, rather than 19 months. Chase is such a Big Boy these days!
The other great news is that I finally got my new computer. Sure it's a few weeks past Christmas, but the amazing speed of my complex programs more than makes up for it. No lie, it took a solid 5 minutes to open Paint Shop Pro on the old computer, and now it literally takes 5 seconds on the new computer. Aaahh, this must be what heaven is like!
So I was in charge of clearing off the old computer and transferring all the files and programs to the new computer. Things were going quite well, until I got to the Quicken program. You know, Ben's second true love. Apparently there are major issues with the compatibility of Quicken and Windows Vista. I knew Ben would be upset by this, but my first thought was, "you know, it wouldn't be that bad if Ben couldn't track everything we spend money on".
When I broke the news to Ben about the Quicken program issues, he started to mumble something about buying and updating to the new 2009 version of Quicken. Huh? What? Umm, that wasn't how this conversation was supposed to go. With the threat of Ben using a new, more complex version that could probably track expenses at lightning speed and in more detail that ever, I quickly started a Google search to solve the problem. Luckily, I was able to figure it out... a few hours later. So now I can resume my daily morning intake of french vanilla cappuccinos without the Quicken program finding out. Whew, that was a close one!
