The boys had their ENT appointment scheduled for today - Braedyn's last one and Chase's first one. Braedyn's ear tubes still hadn't fallen out yet, but they were very close to coming out. So his doctor manually took them out using some scary looking tools. The whole process only took a few minutes, but it seemed like a lifetime as Braedyn had to lay down in the chair, and was very unhappy with the entire situation. And since Braedyn isn't receptive to laying down while someone is digging in his ear, I had to lean over him and try to hold him in place... not to mention the two nurses that were assisting as well. All I kept thinking was, "this is not a good sign of what to expect during his first dental appointment next week".
While I was wrestling with Braedyn in the chair, Ben was with Chase for his audiology exam. Chase has some slight hearing loss from the chronic ear infections, but all is expected to return to normal after the ear tube surgery. Thank goodness we were able to get the surgery scheduled for just a couple weeks from now. So here's to hoping that Chase's ear infections are drastically minimized in the near future!

He's a professional crawler now, and he couldn't be happier. In fact, the only one that's not happy is Braedyn since Chase can now easily get to his beloved cars, trucks, and trains. Apparently, Little Boy has a "no sharing" rule on these items. And is it just me, or is Chase's hair getting alot lighter?!?
