Braedyn's New Favorite Present

Given Braedyn's love for choo-choo trains, I started to feel a bit guilty that I was depriving him of his very own train track. After I talked Ben into believing that Braedyn needed a train track, he said, "okay, research it a little and see what you can find". To which I replied two seconds later, "I already did, I'll pick it up from Target tomorrow." (He just looked at me and shook his head).

So last night, I showed Braedyn his new present and I put his track together for him. And honestly, who knew that train tracks took up so much room?!? This track is just a simple figure 8 track, and we needed to use the coffee table to set it on as Braedyn's play table was too small! I guess I now know why parents eventually invest in train tables (don't worry Ben, I've already started to hunt these down for a Christmas present... you're welcome).

Needless to say, Braedyn was in heaven with his new train track. He wouldn't even take his eyes off the track to look at the camera, he was so focused on that thing!

I kid you not when I say that he stood there and pushed Thomas the Train around the track for 2 solid hours. That's right - 2 whole hours, it was insane. Every so often he would stop and say, "thank you, Mommy". And every time he said that made me realize that the $40 I spent on the train track was worth every, single penny. It's moments like this that we, as parents, live for.

And P.S., someone tell Braedyn that he needs to stay fascinated with this track for more than a couple days, because I've already got lots more train track accessories added to the Christmas list! (insert sound of Ben gasping here)
