Photo Shoot 0825

I think we're about due for a photo shoot, don't ya think? So here we go...

Here is a picture I really like of me and Baby Chase. It's rare to get pictures of me with the boys because I'm usually the one taking the pictures. But this is a great shot Chase and you can see just how little he is... it's easy to forget how small newborns are - I don't remember Braedyn ever being this small!

This picture cracks me up. We taught Braedyn how to show his pearly whites after brushing his teeth. So when I took this picture, I told Braedyn to say "cheese" and this is what he did. He looks like such a big boy compared to Chase, huh? ::sigh::

This is Chase's interpretation of tummy time... apparently he thinks he is supposed to just lay on his tummy and that's it. He hasn't quite figured out that he's supposed to attempt to lift himself up on his arms and strengthen his neck muscles! Meanwhile, Braedyn could care less about Chase and is fascinated with this "new toy" that we have in the living room.

This is a pic of my mom with Baby Chase. Chase spent a lot of time with Grammy last week. Chase is not a fan of being held over your shoulder (in the classic burping position), and it took Grammy no time at all to figure out that this position she is holding him in is where he is the most content. Such demanding little creatures these babies are, eh?

We got Braedyn this new fire truck since we realized he loves to push cars and trucks around on the ground. It's a great size for him, and he loves his new toy. (By the way, see all the rain through the french doors... we were still enduring tons of rain from Tropical Storm Fay even after it left our area.)

And this is one of my favorite pics of Chase from my most recent photo shoot. You know, the photo shoot where I took about 45 pictures and kept only two of them. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Ben's brother and SIL, Jason and Jessica, and their 9 month old girl, Penny, are in town. And we have a family trip to Disney planned for next week, so don't worry, there will be plenty more photo shoots in the upcoming weeks!
