Our Family Health Update: Braedyn is a healthy little boy. Chase is almost just as healthy, just a slight cough still lingers. I am on the road to recovery, still coughing alot but I feel much better. And Ben, well... Ben is just now starting to get this horrible sickness. Do you know what happens when the husband gets sick.... the friggin' world comes to an end, literally!Ben started to get worse during the day, and wasn't feel good at all when he got home from work today. But before I continue, let's remember just less than one week ago when I was horribly ill and unable to sleep at night because of my heavy congestion and cough. But aside from how sick I was, life still went on - Chase still cried or whimpered at night and had to be taken care of, laundry had to be washed, kids had to be fed and bathed, and dishes had to be cleaned. Fast forward to today... below are some of the statements that flew out of Ben's mouth within the first hour of him arriving home from work today.
> I think I'm dying!
> Should I go to the emergency room now or wait a bit?
> People that feel this bad should be allowed to lay on the couch and do nothing all night.
> When should we call the priest to have him read my last rights?
> You can't possibly know what it's like to feel this bad.
(and my all-time favorite...)
> If you were ever this sick, I would assume all duties of taking care of the kids until you got better.
Seriously, what is it with the lack of pain tolerance in men? And the funny thing is, I've been through the same sickness he is just now getting, and I gotta say, he ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait until he wakes up tomorrow and feels like he's been hit by a mack truck. Then... and only then will he have the right to complain about being sick.

now would be the time to get something in writing stating that next time you are sick, you must assume all responsibilities!!
This is the exact reason why men can't have babies...they'd never be able to deal with labor and delivery!
