Our L'il Jaguars Fan

Aaaahhh, football season is upon us. This is the season where I don't have a husband, and his selective hearing is in full effect. The season where Ben says he'll get to this or that on commercial break... but there really is no commercial break - because when Game A goes to commercial, he flips the channel to Game B. Oh what fun...

However, in honor of football season, we (read as: Ben) figured it was only fitting that Braedyn join in on the fun. Here is a picture of him modeling his Jacksonville Jaguars pj's. I really think he could be a Baby Pajamas Model... I mean, seriously, look at him - such a natural he is!!

And the pictures below are of him standing on his own... yeah, sure it was for only 2-3 seconds, but does that really matter? Nooooo... all that matters is that our Little Tyke is standing!! When he sits down to play with his activity table, he tries to pull up on the table to get to a standing position because he'd much rather play with the toys on top.

Now... if only he can get that crawling thing figured out. =)

So, this past Thursday night was apparently the first night of college football season...

Ben: (Thursday afternoon) There's a really good game on tonight that I want to watch.
Me: Really, who's playing?
Ben: Team A and Team B (he actually said the names of the teams, but this is how my selective hearing works during this time of year).
Me: THAT is a good game? Doesn't sound like it.
Ben: Ummm, it's not the teams that matter. What matters is that it's the very first game of the season. THAT is all that matters.

Ohhh, okay - how foolish of me. Who knew.... See all the great stuff I learn every year!

Although I don't know much about college football, I will give my customary "Go Jags!!" for the pro football side of things. However, since the Jags just cut their quarterback, they might be in for a rough season. I guess I'll just do what I do every year... wait until the Super Bowl, then root for the team with the best looking quarterback.
