Hitting Rock Bottom

As a result of the horrible tv programming currently on, my dvr is only 2% full. And that 2% consists entirely of 2 episodes of Little Einsteins, 1 episode of Backyardigans, and 1 episode of Yo Gabba Gabba (the only show Braedyn will watch in its entirety, and ironically, the only show Ben and I would love to never watch again).

I mean, just 20 minutes ago, I was watching a show on the E! channel that was a tribute to the New Kids on the Block. And while my friend Melisa would appreciate me watching that show, I have to tell you that I - unlike all of America - had very little interest in the New Kids when I was in high school. Even after Melisa locked me in her bedroom for a weekend and forced me to watch hours and hours of concert footage, I was still only slightly drawn to them, and that quickly faded after a week or so.

So the end result of all this is that I have hit rock bottom, and found myself with very few tv programming options left. As a result, I was forced to do something that I never thought I would. Yup, that's right, I made the decision to go back to the hills....

Beverly Hills, that is! Oh how I loved 90210 when I was younger. I mean, aside from all the main characters sleeping with each other at some point in time, it was still an enjoyable show for a teenager. And who knew that 10+ years later, the show would be revived from the dead. You see, the CW producers were smart, they knew that for them to get any kind of following with the new 90210, they would have to start the season premiere 3 weeks earlier than any other fall tv show. And guess what, I think that strategy will pay off well for them. Because I'm here to tell you that my dvr is already set, and I'll have two solid hours of 90210 season premier to watch in the upcoming days.

In the meantime, I guess I'll go peruse the tv guide for the 100th time. Who knows, maybe this time I'll find a tribute show to Milli Vanilli. "...girl you know it's true, ooh ooh ooh, I love you..." Awww, come on, I know you know the lyrics, don't pretend like you don't!!

Girl, I cannot wait for some 90210! Do I think it will be a bit rediculous, absolutely. But I'm so excited. LOL... And ps... I was a HUGE NKOTB fan also. And they are back to.. Go figure! Happy watching tonight. Hopefully my DVR won't blow up tonight with 90210, Big Brother and America's got talent.. I'm going to have so many issues come Fall. By the way, the pics of the boys are cute!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Please come back anytime :)

I. too, hate the summer TV season... I've never understood why TV shows have to break for the summer. And last winter's writer strike? Oh, I was so miserable! I love me some TV!!!

I didn't catch the new 90210, though... I really wasn't that big of fan of the original!

And your little family is adorable :)

You know you used to sing this:

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
The right stuff
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
The right stuff

LMAO.

I only have the slightest urge to watch the new 90210 only because Shannon Doherty will be on it :)
