Yesterday afternoon, I spent an hour (a very expensive hour) with my hair stylist as she colored, cut and styled my hair to perfection. Although there wasn't a drastic change to the before and after, I will admit that I was quite pleased with the end result and felt like a new woman.
Fast forward a couple hours... Ben gets home from work and he's standing in the kitchen talking to me as I'm finishing up dinner. About 2 minutes into the conversation, he cuts me off and says (.... wait for it ....), he says "What happened to your hair?!?" And right at that moment, any and all guilt that I had about how expensive my hair salon visit was went flying out the window.
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure that wonderful line that flew out of my husband's mouth just doubled my Christmas shopping budget... seriously!

I had my hair done this week too, well only cut and styled. But after 4 months it was a much needed treat!
Ok, that is a phrase that should never be said to a woman... even if her hair looks like poo...
