Well, I think we're finally at the turning point - you know, that *magical* 3 month mark. Chase is more aware of things, he's content just sitting and looking around, he enjoys watching his big brother, and he smiles - ALOT.
Ben had a Jaguars home game this afternoon, so I was on my own with the boys after 12:00 pm. My greatest accomplishment today (aside from remembering to feed them dinner) was getting both boys in bed and asleep by 7:05 pm. I've never enjoyed the sweet sound of silence as much as I do at this very moment. The downside to all of this... I'm totally jacked up on caffeine right now, and I haven't seen my two cats in about 6 hours. I'm trying to remember if they even came out to get fed at dinner time, but my mind is mush... I can't concentrate long enough to think clearly - especially since I'm trying to type this blog post and eat my dinner at the same time... you know, my dinner that consists entirely of a package of ritz crackers and some coca-cola on the rocks to wash it down with. Mmmm Mmmm Good!!
Here are a few random pictures to close out my evening. I don't have many photos of Ben and Chase... probably because up until this point, Chase was usually crying and Ben was typically as far away from that scene as possible. haha. So here's a nice picture of Ben and Chase that I took today.
Every night when Chase gets a bath, I wash and scrub his hair (or whatever few strands of hair there are). He totally loves this, and always closes his eyes and makes this "ooohhhh, that feels great" face. It's just too darn cute!
We tried on Braedyn's Halloween outfit to make sure it fits. We had to try it on because it's the same outfit he had last year. I know, I know, bad mommy. But seriously, it was quite big on him last year, and this year it fits perfectly. And I think he looks so adorable in it since he can now walk in it (last year he was still crawling at this time). We plan on taking him to the mall for trick-or-treating this year, so that should be lots of fun. And in case you're wondering, No, his costume is not a friggin' horse, it's a giraffe! A giraffe, people - get it straight!! (That was some leftover frustration from last year when people thought he was everything but a giraffe.)
It is now 8:30 and I am excited to say that I am off to bed at this early hour. Well, I guess I should try to locate my cats first, just in case they're locked in a closet or something. But right after that, I'm off to bed.

Congrats on Chase's new schedule and that it seems to be working!
Love the pic of Chase in the tub and you are right, Braedyn should do well this year walking in his costume...even if people ask him to neigh a few times! LOL
Yay for sleep! I was ecstatic to get 5 or 6 hours at a time... so good for you for getting 7 -8 hours! Woo hoo!
